This blog will record the events, culture, and experiences I have during the next 8 months - while I am living and working in Tajikistan. I expect to visit remote areas in the region and will be posting stories, voice clips, photos, and videos throughout my journey.
This blog is open to the public, so please share it with friends whom you think will be also interested. Given the long time span I will be in the region, I am also open to investigating your "burning questions" about the area/people/culture/religion and creating entries based on your comments and feedback.

I just read the article in the Observer. It is quite an adventure you are in for. To jog your memory, I was teaching at St Michael School during your elementary school tenure there. (still am) You were never in my class but I remember you as one of our top students. I love traveling to different and exotic places so reading your impressions of Tajikistan will be a treat. Looking forward to the adventure. All the best.
